The Market Entrance It was decided that a day at the market was on the cards. After breakfast we walked 3 km to the Narantuul Market with its beautifully decorated gate. Then market was huge, selling clothes, school stationary, household stuff and what not. Carpet-land More interestingly, they had lots of carpets which in itself was spectacular as they were hung on either side of the aisles and above the aisles making for a very colourful and special experience. Asia Tour 2026 - Day 1/25 - Istanbul, Turkey - City 3/15 - Country 2/9

The plane The flight took us over Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria but it was dark by the time we flew in over the sprawling Metropolis of Istanbul. I actually waved at Serbian as we flew over Novi Sad, Belgrade and Niš. We had a wonderful pasta with tomato sauce on the flight with some nice wine.
