Asia Tour 2026 - Day 1/25 - Istanbul, Turkey - City 3/15 - Country 2/9

The plane

The flight took us over Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria but it was dark by the time we flew in over the sprawling Metropolis of Istanbul. I actually waved at Serbian as we flew over Novi Sad, Belgrade and Niš. We had a wonderful pasta with tomato sauce on the flight with some nice wine.

For the second leg we just made our way to the next designated gate where I ordered a wine and just waited for the flight to be called. Even though it was just a few hours it was nice to speak Turkish!
