A nice wine to before heading out

The day flew by a little too fast, and Nenad dropped me all the way back to Novi Sad. This is something I noticed all across Serbia; I even got a bottle of rakija to take home. These people have beautiful, warm hearts. I dropped off my camera and made my way to Maxi, where I bought ajvar and bread, as usual, washed down, of course, with local red wine and the rakija.

After this simple but lovely meal, I went into the city and met some locals in a bar called Škripa.

We were also joined by a Mexican and a Dane, and we all got on pretty well. I decided to start with beer but quickly changed to the wonderful local white wine poured from a large plastic bottle. I stayed until getting kicked out.
