I had managed to meet Alexander for breakfast at around 09:30. He arrived on time but had an appointment with the hairdresser. I waited with a lovely coffee, taking in the sights and people-watching.
For breakfast, I had an omelette with cheese and tomato, both of which were actually served on the side rather than in the omelette itself. Alexander had eggs Benedict but received a phone call and had to rush off for half an hour.
After breakfast, we walked for a bit, but both being tired, we went our separate ways. I had a rest in the rental apartment before heading off to meet Dragan in Hotel Moskva.
I was early, so I ordered a lovely Serbian red wine while I waited for him to arrive. The last time I saw him, he was promoting his own film "Topli Film" in Den Haag at the Eastern Neighbours Film Festival. We ended up speaking about films and Mirjana Karanović, who was also in Den Haag at that time in 2024.
We parted ways as he had to work and I had some serious relaxing to do, so I returned to a place close to my accommodation called the Wine Passage and had 3 different Serbian wines while again practicing ćejf. I decided to stop at precisely 3 wines before resting for a bit.
In the evening, I walk 5 metres and ordered a pizza with a pint of beer. At the momet Thomas who was renting my house in Schiedam called me to inform me that the fridge had died at home.
After the meal, I had a pint in Smiley (Osmeh), followed by another one at the Irish pub close to my rental place, but abandoned it in favor of my bed!
