Day 1 - Tuzla - 2nd of June 2023

Arrival in Tuzla airport

Work had been a bit hectic, so on the 2nd of June on the Friday, I took the train to Eindhoven. I am always extra early just in case, and as it turned out the train was actually delayed!

Once in Eindhoven airport I bought chocolates for Zora and a snack for myself. The plane journey took us over Lukavac and Tuzla, and of course everyone applauded when we landed.

Once I got through customs, a very young boy was waiting for me holding up his mobile phone with my name on it, I was a bit shocked until his dad turned up on the scene! They seemed surprised that I spoke Bosnian. On arrival at apartment Benjamin, I paid up, exchanged some money and went to the supermarket which was close by and got čipi čips smoki and "gud" peanuts as well as Bosnian wine. I went to a local bar afterwards called Gajba. I ordered a single bottle of Tuslanski Pilsner for one euro fifty before returning to the apartment.
