Soup for breakfast

We woke up, I was slightly woozy and went down for breakfast. Stanislav chose soup and I chose an omelette with cheese and some caffè macchiato. The smell of burnt eggs wafted from the kitchen, and yes when my omelette arrived, I took a mouthful and it was well, BURNT! I decided to stick to the Irish bread instead. Our waiter seemed a little bit upset that I didn't complain about the bad food. He took it off the bill.

Hanging around in Skopje

We disappear of to sit on a bench for a while.Then later to the opposite side of the bridge. Eventually it was time for lunch. We return to the Irish bar again, Stanislav gets kajgana (scrambled eggs) and I ordered falafel. This was the worst falafel ever, more of a falafail!

Passing time...

It was then that I discovered my fuck-up! We could have travelled to Tirana during the day, but I we already bought bus tickets for the night trip. Never mind, I contacted the hotel explaining that we would be arriving at around 06:00 in the morning. I felt so pissed off with myself! We sit down on a bench by the bridge and I do some more reading of my book "the cut out girl".

We then move on towards a church and sit for a bit before finally moving towards the station to wait, and wait... At the station this old lady keeps falling asleep, her head touching my shoulder before sprinting back up again.

Night bus to Tirana

We finally boarded the bus ad the journey was very long. When we got to the border 3 guys were called out by the border police. Finally at 05:00 we arrived in Tirana.
