Albanian wine

We woke up to a cock crowing, then two cocks crowing, then dogs barking then the call to prayer from the mosque! We talk for a bit and then drift off asleep. It was raining miserably, we tried to find the key which I decided we had misplaced, somehow one of then guys from the hostel had accidentally taken it. But I searched everywhere for it, even in the rubbish!

We exit in the rain and try to find the post office, then we found a caffè where we had some coffee and a veggie toastie. I went and found supermarket - no bread. There was lots of flour, it seems people bake their own bread here like Martha. They also had lots of pasta. I leave with beer, wine, cheese and crackers. I spent the afternoon reading, and the power was failing intermittently then returning. At 17:30 we ate, drank some wine from Kosovo and then switched to Albanian wine. The owner called over and we drank some more, we all talked and shared food. Finally we got the key back, one of the young guys who works there had taken it. We retired to bed.
