Enniscorthy & Dublin

We chose a place for breakfast that allegedly sold porridge, but in the end, they had none. Stanislav had granola, and I had a veggie fry-up with crispy eggs. I am not a fan of crispy eggs at all! The veggie sausages were far too realistic, so I was not impressed.

We caught the bus to Enniscorthy, and there we explored the castle and had a coffee. Afterwards, we shopped for a Claddagh ring, which we got for a very good price, and I stumbled upon a shoe shop where I had to help the owner find one half of a pair of shoes, but I won't complain for just 20 euros!

As we had plenty of time, we headed on towards a pub and had just a single pint of Rí-Rá lager before heading to the station. I had a picnic of Irish soda bread and sliced cheese on the way back to Dublin. Once in Dublin, it was mad; it was the Oasis concert, and fans with Oasis T-shirts were everywhere. We made our way through the crowds into Temple Bar, where I bought a DVD about Irish pubs at the IFI before we had a quick drink in the George.

Always being nervous about time, I ordered an Uber to Erica's place as I really needed to shower and change before heading to Charlie's party in Scholars. It was his 18th birthday and it was lovely to catch up with everyone again.

In a word #Charlie #wexford #Ireland #Dublin #Enniscorthy
