The tiny bus from Avis arrived, I could tell it was originally French by all the ext inside. The bus passed by the power station in Tulza then I saw the sign for Tuzla/Тузла. The bus dropped us at the bus station where I ordered a taxi to Kapija. I was just into my first beer when i got a message from Stanislav to go to the rental place which was just around the corner.
While I waited for Stanislav to come down, a loud drunk lady with serval bottles of Ždrepčeva Krv the one litre size, she wanted me to buy flags and asked me if I liked wine. Once in the apartment, I rested a bit and let my phone recharge. Stanislav had bought some chocolate for me which I enjoyed.
Our next plan was to walk to the supermarket which was close to where I stayed the last time. While walking there we found a book stall and spoke to the owner, an intellectual and poet with John Lennon type glasses. We connected via Instagram.
Later we found a table at Park Pub and I had a half litre of beer and Stanislav had rakija. After food we just walked for a bit and found "La Città del Sale" - The City of Salt a restaurant. I ordered the cheese board which was enormous and 4 cheese pizza.
The pizza was not Italian style with a crisp base but rather a soft bread base which I liked. Stanislav had salad and soup, but also helped me out with my cheese and pizza. I ordered a carafe of very nice white wine, so I ordered a second carafe too and we just relaxed there until it was time to leave. The white was crisp and fresh and lacked any nasty preservatives or bisulphite smells. Despite struggling with the food I started eating the chips which were ordered too!
When we were finished we walked towards the rental place and again bumped into Boris the book guy right in front of the "I ❤️ Tuzla" sign. I decided that we should go to Trg Slobada and had some drinks, he had a 0.5 L beer and we had rakija. I managed to buy peanuts in between to share too.
