Breakfast restaurant "Cora"

When I woke up, it was noticeably dull outside. I could here the patter of raindrops on the outside terrace. I made my way to Cora, a breakfast place and I ordered a lovely cheese and spinach omellete with coffee and orange juice. The breakfast also came with fried potatoes which I put some spicy sauce on. As usual, endless fresh coffee too.

Breakfast at 'Cora"

After breakfast I headed up to Goran's place where we chatted for ages over coffee. After coffee we ventured up to the supermarket along Rue Ontario where I also bought a French langauge book in a nice little bookshop.

Tim, myself and Johanne reunited after 23 years

At 16:00 Stanislav and I had a drink in the Gay Village, before catching the metro and bus to Dorval, where we met Tim and Johanne at their place, I had notcied Johanne from a distance with the family dog as a plane whined over our heads towards the enarby airport. We started with tortillas and a spicy tomato dip and a cheesey dip, something which has fond memories for me from our cheap nights at Tim's place in Toronto, I owed revenue Canada quite some money and his daughter Megan was on the way. The main courses were a cauliflower curry along with an excellent "tofu butter chicken" and a spicy chickpea dish served up with copious amounts of naan bread and rice. I had brought a nice bottle of South African "Kanonkop" red wine which was followed by an equally nice Californian red. It didn't seem like 23 years had passed at all, and we just picked up where we left off. We talked about the old days in Toronto in the mid 90's.

They dropped us back to the village by car, driving into the city with its spectacular skyline greeting us. Fed and watered, we had one drink before sleeping.

In a word #friendship
