Coffee and Croissants

We woke up at 09:00 and slowly made our way towards "Le Toucan" for coffee and croissants. It turned out that I needed to write a lot for the past two days, and we told the lady I would write about her too.

Metro Station Pasteur

We caught the metro and I got off at Rennes meeting lots of pro Macron supporters. I had a brief conversation with them but they couldn't grasp why I didn't support the WEF.

At the language museum

I continued towards age language museum, the guy at the front desk was actually quite arrogant and made some nasty remarks about my French. After 90 minutes in the museum it still failed to impress me.

Hoards of Tourists

I left and went to Rennes station where I bought some fancy soaps and some wine. The journey to metro Abbesses was quite long. I walked up a lot of stairs and and passed hoards of tourists while trying to find Stanislav. Finally we met at the Sacré Couer and we walked a bit further away from the tourists to find a bar where I had a nice red wine and he had a hot chocolate.

Un vin rouge

We walked a bit further to the Moroccan café and I had another wine. It was Sunday so all the supermarkets were shut, so we found a Georgian food truck, I ordered a khachapuri and Stanislav had chicken. I also had a Saperavi red wine. The ladies were delighted that I spoke their language (Georgian).

Full and sleepy we made the long journey back to Montparnasse where Stanislav bought some cakes at the patisserie.

In a word: #tired
