On this morning, we woke up to a proper breakfast buffet with boiled eggs, vegetables, and olives, but again, only instant coffee. I still needed proper coffee!

We did some exploring, stopping in a coffee place along the way and speaking to a Brazilian with a girl from Kazakhstan.

After coffee, we continued past lots of nice restaurants and cafés and an antique bookshop where I picked up some old language books for improving my Georgian.

We crossed a bridge and walked a bit through the park, then onwards towards the hotel, recognizing landmarks from our first visit a few years ago, especially Mother Georgia watching over the city with a bowl of wine in one hand and a sword in the other.

We rested for a bit, then went to our restaurant where I ordered lobio (bean stew) and potato-filled khinkali. My goodness, these are the best type of khinkali, and I need them again!

Of course, I had chacha and Saperavi with the meal. I am now declaring Saperavi to be my all-time favorite wine.

Later, we went to the gay scene again, visiting the bars Mozaik and Mimosa. As we were walking back to our hotel, I randomly bumped into David from the Georgian Embassy in Den Haag!
