A breakfast for a King on King's Day
It was a miserable day of drizzle. We walked to Andrew's place where we made our way to have breakfast close to the CN tower. I had fried eggs sunny side up served with French toast. After breakfast we headed to St. Andrews Station and made our way to the university area. On our way I passed by where the Ferrit & Firkin pub used to be where I used to hang out after work back in the 90s.

My old place on Huron Street from 1994-1995
We passed some university buildings and made our way up to Huron street where I used to live, we made our way to the Madison bar, a place that I also used to frequent. We then took the metro eastbound. We got off at Victoria park, and walked to the building I last lived in in Toronto.

We reurned downtown and had a dinner of nachos (me) and poutine (Stanislav) in the Garage in the Gay Village. This was very close to Woody's my old haunt from 1994-1996.

I had arranged to meet Andrew at Allen's Irish pub on Danforth, where we met for our first date back in September 1995. We only stayed for a really long drink and talked about everything.

Wonderful nachos, full of pleasant memories
One the way back on the tram, I bought a nice cheese roll from a French style delicatessen.
