Andrew by Lake Ontario
We met at Andrew's place at 14:00. He drove us to Jameson Avenue, where he dropped off Etan. We had a last minute change of mind, we decided not to go to London but to go to Niagara-on-the-Lake. As we drove there I remembered the long undulating roads with the typical farm buildings scattered on eithe side.

Tulips in Niagara-on-the-Lake
When we arrived in Niagara-on-the-Lake we were greeted by picture perfect timber houses, neat gardens, and lots of tulips. The town was full of shops selling all kinds of trinkets and cakes or ice-creams.

Typical houses
We headed down to the waterfront which was quite nippy. It didnt look like a lake, more like an ocean with waves crashing and an endless view to the horizon.

Looking at New York State
New York state was literally a quick swim away on the other side, but the cold micro-climate meant that close to the cold water even the flowers were still not in bloom compared to the town behind our backs.

A view of Toronto from Oakville
We walked back up into the town where we bought cakes, chocolate and coffee and sat on a park bench enjoying people watching before heading to Oakville briefly, then on to Toronto.
