Trip To Georgia Day 0 - Schiphol Airport

Georgian wine

I missed the alarm, got up feeling still drunk after a night drinking with the lesbian neighbours. In work I had to fill the NMR with liquid nitrogen and grabbed a lovely cappuccino. I trained a Turkish postdoc, set my out of office and cycled back to Schiedam. I still had quite a bit to do, including about an hour at the Syrian barber for a haircut, then pick up some prescriptions and I still had to fully pack my bags. I had been washing clothes like mad all week in preparation. Finally, I got rid of my rubbish, watered the plants and dropped the keys off at the lesbian neighbours. I had a shower and travelled exhausted by Uber to Rotterdam Centraal.

Schiphol

Stanislav arrived and we had about four minutes to spare before we had to board the train to Schiphol. Funny that I had been to Schiphol 3 times in the previous week for the Science summit. We checked into the irritatingly modern Citizen M hotel and had a cheese sandwich and alcohol free beer before heading off to bed.
