Me and auntie Cora
I was up bright and early before everyone else, so I did some reading. Eventually, Barbara and the girls got up, and we had breakfast together, cereals and buttered toast.

Barbara and James
Later in the day, we went to the local pharmacy, which was closed, so we decided to go to Enfield. The pharmacy there was full of all kinds of wonderful gift items, including lovely Irish jewelry. My first choice for Auntie Cora was a Celtic cross made of gold, which was about 250 euros, so I opted for a nice pendant about 60 euros instead. We drove down the windy roads under a grey sky towards Leixlip.

Barbara and Cora
Our cousin James was there to meet us, followed by Mairéad and her two daughters. I also spoke German to Julie-Ann, James's daughter. Cora was very happy to see us all. Some of the kids went to the local shops and brought me back Lucozade, but it isn't quite what it used to be.

Dunnes Stores in Maynooth
After visiting Auntie Cora, we moved on to Maynooth shopping centre. I browsed Eason's book shop and also bought new clothes in Dunnes Stores. Next stop was Aldi, where we stocked up on quite a bit of food, but the menu of the day was tortilla wraps, which we had together with Feargal, who was already back home.
Later, we watched a couple of films before retiring to bed.
